June 2021 the US Congress passed Legislation, signed into lLaw establishing Juneteenth as a Title 5 fixed Federal Holiday.

Juneteenth California is a quasi-optional holiday throughout the State of California. Confusing at best and certainly a work in progress.

California Governor Newsom can exercise Executive Authority and give Legislative direction to align Jineteenth California with our newest Title 5 US Federal Holiday.

Currently, by statue, the third Saturday in June is Juneteenth National Freedom Day in California.

This very special #California175 and #Juneteenth160 year we can bring history alive and chart a new course to achieve even greater heights throughout the Great State of California and beyond.
